Even though the government is recording every digital communication in the US, it can't protect us from terrorist attacks. It can use those recordings against us though. The police state does not make us safer. It makes us less safe.

I bet this Idaho guy is another FBI patsy taken down to boost their reputation of their failure in Boston. The FBI is not mentioned in the article, only federal authorities, and that's suspicious in itself.
