Instead the US is prolonging the war and increasing casualties by aiding the rebels. US claims of caring about humanitarian issues are lies. Not only that, but the rebels are affiliated with al Qaeda. We're at war with al Qaeda and its affiliates. The US is aiding them. Aiding and abetting the enemy is the definition of treason. The US government is implementing a policy of treason.
