Local

Another bomb threat closes a local school.
"The threat was written on the back of a stall door in a girls’ bathroom."
These people are making the authorities look like idiots.

Another car fire.

Schools pushing costs for extracurricular activities onto parents. Hopefully this will lead to more parents pulling their kids from government schools and putting them into private schools.

Springboro teachers prepare to strike. This is an opportunity to fire all the teachers and close all the schools. This would get the bureaucrats out from between the teachers and the parents so they could work together to insure children got the best education at the lowest price.
"The school board is seeking significant concessions on salary, insurance, and working conditions, according to the union."
Abolishing the government schools would free teachers and parents to negotiate individually and reach voluntary agreements on wages included benefits and working conditions. Think of the cost savings that would come from not paying bureaucrats and not maintaining giant, cookie cutter prison schools. Better yet, think of the great education children would get as teachers focused on what was important to parents, not politicians, not bureaucrats.

After 80 years of the war on drugs, heroin rings are everywhere because there's a ton of money to be made. The government can't change the laws of economics.

Orwell would enjoy this headline: Fifteen graduate from Juvenile Drug Court.
