War

Blaming parents for raising children to become soldiers for empire.

McCain poses for pictures with confirmed Syrian rebel jihadist kidnappers.

The Syrian war has prompted the worst riots in Turkey in years. Claims of humanitarian motives in support of the rebels are bald-faced lies.

Somebody wonders if Washington, Moscow and Beijing are creating a new Cold War. I've been talking about that for years.
"Did Washington just give Israel the green light for a future attack on Iran via an arms deal?  Did Russia just signal its further support for Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian regime via an arms deal?  Are the Russians, the Chinese, and the Americans all heightening regional tensions in Asia via arms deals?  Is it possible that we’re witnessing the beginnings of a new Cold War in two key regions of the planet — and that the harbingers of this unnerving development are arms deals?"
Sounds like a new Cold War to me.

People are still being killed in the Afghan war.
"There is no need for a chaos-engulfed finale to the Afghan War. There is no reason to continue the bloodshed, which all the parties recognize will not alter the final outcome a whit. It is time for the White House to step up and do the right thing and end one of the bloodiest wars in recent history."
Sooner better than later.

Accusation that McCain was a well-treated, North Vietnamese collaborator well beyond what McCain admits.
"If McCain indeed collaborated beyond the point that might have been understandable for any prisoner seeking to ameliorate his confinement it would be an intriguing tale, particularly if it could be plausibly demonstrated that it might have influenced his subsequent behavior as a senator cheerleading for the Pentagon while simultaneously covering up some of the more disgraceful by products of Vietnam. "
That's a doubly damning accusation.
"Schanberg makes two key points: first that a number of American prisoners of war were left behind in Indochina in 1973 with the connivance of top levels in the U.S. government and second that John McCain has worked assiduously to obstruct any efforts to open Pentagon files and follow up on leads to determine the status of the POWs and the “missing in action.”"
Worse and worse.
"His recent visit to Syria to demonstrate support for the rebels is, in fact, a violation of the Logan Act which forbids the conduct of foreign policy by anyone outside the executive branch of government. "
Prosecute him.
