"They cited research that showed children who first attended pre-kindergarten were more likely to succeed in school and get jobs later in life, and less likely to have out-of-wedlock children."This is a good example showing correlation does not mean causation. It's likely kids who attend preschool come from more affluent families or families with stronger work ethics. The-preschool itself probably does nothing at best and is more likely counter-productive.

Education
These Christian seeming do-gooders are just trying to line their own pockets. Kids don't need preschool. They need to be free to be kids. They certainly don't need the government controlling them through vouchers at an even younger age.
