Timothy Noah says that Al Gore's carbon tax idea is catching on. The problem with the carbon tax is that every product made in America will contain the embedded carbon tax from energy companies through the production of every ingredient of the product, just like the income tax. Manufactoring companies and jobs will continue moving to countries with taxes like the VAT that aren't embedded in products sold overseas. Support the FairTax.
