The conflict in Georgia has turned into a full-fledged Russian invasion. Russia blockades Georgia. Russians support the invasion. Putin plans to replace Georgia's elected government. The Russian press claims the west started this war. It looks like Russia has fully reverted to it's czarist and Soviet imperialism and double-speak. Bush and the UN whine impotently. Obama slowly follows McCain toward harsh criticism. Putin is on the ground directing the invasion. But at least Bush looked into Putin's eyes and discovered Putin was a good man.

Article that hints at the real motivation behind Russia's attack on Georgia - controlling the only oil pipeline from east to west that Russia doesn't control already. Russia plans to hold Europe hostage to oil supplies. This Russian, Georgian war is a real war over oil.

Apparently Edwards is still telling lies about his affair. I guess he just admitted to the obvious, but continues to lie about the details. Typical government aristocrat.
