Free kibbles

Ahmadinejad's schizophrenia continues as he says Iran is open to nuclear talks. This after he said Iran wouldn't budge. This after Iran refused to respond to a recent international offer. It seems Ahmadinejad is playing a game to keep the international community off balance and what gets lost in translation, but the Iranian regime appears insane. Given this is the same regime that took our embassy hostage, it is insane.

Good for Sen. Graham for pointing out that Obama is injecting race into the campaign, not McCain, and for Obama's campaign to say otherwise is a lie.

George Will says Obama's Berlin speech neared self-parody. It was a joke.

While Obama sends his children to private school, he opposes vouchers that would allow poor children stuck in failing public schools to do the same. McCain supports vouchers.

Charles Krauthammer explains that because the US has the best technology and the best record of protecting the environment from oil spills, real environmentalists would want the US to produce as much oil as possible and the rest of the world as little as possible.

Dick Morris and I wonder when the McCain campaign is going to get serious. Obama is the most dangerous candidate in my lifetime because of his extreme socialist proposals and weakness on national security, but McCain won't attack his radical positions. Morris says August is the time to do it and waiting will cost McCain.

Ann Coulter presents an open and closed case for John Edwards as the father of an illegitimate baby fathered while his wife fought cancer. Wikipedia shows it's liberal stripes by not allowing Edwards's page to be updated with the love child information.

Quiz testing if readers can identify if certain quotes are from Al Gore or the Unibomber. Try it. The similarities are eerie, but I'm sure every lunatic makes plenty of statements that are basically the same as statements made by every sane individual. The difference here is that Gore wrote a book and Kazinski wrote a manifesto about the exact same things.

Fortunately for McCain, this election is a referendum on Obama, and here's 10 reasons Obama won't win.

Los Angeles bans any new fast food restaurants from opening in a certain neighborhood. That's because the people in that neighborhood eat at them too often. LA residents are no longer free to open fast food restaurants where they want, and the city thinks its citizens are not competent to chose their own food. What this does is protect the existing fast food restaurants from competition, so they can charge higher prices and serve an inferior product. We have completely lost an semblance of desire for freedom and we're paying the price.

Man training for a triathlon was cited and fined for "an unauthorized swim". Adults can't be trusted to swim.

Climate change will cause Vancouver sewage treatment system to fail more often. Pfft. If it fails already, why not just repair it? Apparently taxpayers don't want to pay to upgrade it, so the paper is scaring them into it with global warming stories.

Muslims protest because congressman plans to hold hearings investigating whether taxpayer money is going to organizations that fund terrorism. They might want to take a look at the Muslim organization that is protesting. They're probably taxpayer funded.

This liberals thinks the Bush government is an example of limited government. That's super scary. He must have been one of Obama's mentors.

Once again the planet refuses to cooperate with the hysterical man-made global warming fanatics. A large, independent, unlike the politically motivated IPCC, panel of climate experts attribute the warming of the last 30 years to natural causes. Norway has an unusually high amount of ice in the Arctic ocean this year. The dogma that the arctic is dangerously melting is fiction. These hysterics wish they had the powers of a prophet, but they're just charlatans like all those doom-sayers before them.

This man's revenge on his wife with a gun is evil.

Liberals blame church shooting on talk radio.

An illegal alien who murdered 2 people claims that his constitutional rights were violated because, among other things, law books weren't written in Spanish. Fortunately the judge wasn't taken in by this drivel.

If you didn't think Obama was scary before, this article will seal the deal. Obama's whole life is focused around dangerous, radical socialists and communists. He'll tell you his granddad was a goat herder, but he'll never tell you his father, who we're supposed to believe was some kind of poor African, was a Harvard educated communist. He talks about teaching in Chicago, but he doesn't say he was teaching hard-core socialism. I don't think of Obama's socialism as stealthy at all, his proposals are the most socialist for any major presidential candidate in my lifetime, he speaks the language of socialism, but the poll numbers say it's stealthy. And Obama isn't just a run of the mill Democrats socialist either. He's a hard core communist sympathizer from his father and mother through his entire life.

Why Europeans love Obama.

Home-schooled students have an easier time transitioning to college.

A new report compares the wealth and economic growth of the states and finds them directly related to economic freedom. Low economic freedom in the northeast and California are driving wealth producers out of those states into more free states. That's why I say freedom is always the right answer.

Apparently Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, despite being broke, are huge donors to a who's who list of liberal organizations. Government passed a law making taxpayers libel for their losses, but Harry Reid refused to allow a vote baning the quasi-governmental companies from lobbying. So now US taxdollars are being used to support these ultra-liberal organizations through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The WSJ says that bailout was passed because Fan and Fred provide great financial support for liberal organizations.

Taxpayers fund the terminally corrupt, liberal voting and lobbying organization ACORN.

Politicians care so little about the taxpayers who pay their salaries, they will force firefighters to use expensive air equipment even against the recommendations of firefighters just to make themselves look good. Because we've made disaster relief a big-government issue, it's less effective, more expensive and focused more on political showmanship than disaster relief - just like every big-government program.

The tax foundation breaks down federal income tax returns.
