Skepticism over report claiming group created petroleum from air. I'm not so skeptical. Oil is a bunch of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms combined into molecules. The problem with creating such molecules out of air is there's almost zero CO2 in the air. With enough CO2 and "free" energy like solar, this should be possible. Without "free" energy, this would be a net energy loss.
I've often written about higher temperatures 1,000 years ago, during what's called the Medieval Warm Period, as well as 2,000 years ago, when Jesus walked the earth. A new paper supports both claims.
