Free kibbles

Israel continues to bend over backwards to protect the enablers of Hamas, putting its own citizens and troops at risk with a 3 hour daily cease fire. No wonder Hamas thinks Israel doesn't have the stomach to win this war. With Israel accepting the principles of a cease fire, it's likely Israel won't defeat Hamas in this battle either, and the war and the killing will go for years to come. There's no substitute for victory. Israel should adopt a strategy that gets the Gazans to turn on Hamas, as we did with the Iraqis against al Qaeda.

The Al Gore effect in Sweden.

Forecaster thinks that Putin cut off supplies of natural gas to the Ukraine to bring Europe to its knees during the coming cold climate period. The new Cold War of Terror just took on a new dimension. As I've pointed out, energy is the new weapon in this new Cold War because the US government bans Americans from developing domestic energy supplies. We're our own worst enemy.

More data and graphs showing that the sun is abnormally quiet, the quietest its ever been on record, and a quiet sun corresponds to cold temperatures on earth. More data showing that solar cycle 24 is a no show - both prediction models are wrong.

Blagojevich staff members give keynote address at "Ethics in the Workplace" seminar.

John Stossel explains Madoff is an amateur when it comes to Ponzi schemes compared to the US government's forced Social Security and Medicare Ponzi schemes.

Walter Williams exposes the absurdity of complaining about the rich when they have no power of their own unlike the lowliest government bureaucrat. When it comes to power, government employees have it. Complaining that the rich buy influence is like complaining that dogs use affection to get treats. Like parents and pet owners, government has all the power.

It looks like NBC has recinded its lifetime ban of Ann Coulter.

Dick Morris explains that many of Obama's so-called tax cuts are really welfare checks.

Obama is already creating drama and is bogged down in corruption scandals. We knew this is the kind of man Obama was when we voted for him.

Obama's stimulus boondoggle is nothing but vote buying earmarks, so claiming it won't have any earmarks is laughable.

Administering TARP has cost Americans $26 million. It always takes more government to sustain more government.

Introduction to the new members of the House and Senate.

Budget deficit to hit $1.2 trillion before Obama's stimulus boondoggle. Hello? Our problem in the US is too much debt and bad debt. You don't have to be Milton Friedman to understand that $1 trillion more in debt will make matters worse, not better. Obama says trillion dollar deficits will last for years to come. Lovely. Contrary to what Democrats have been telling us about economists supporting their irresponsible new stimulus boondoggle, even Keynesian economists are balking at Obama's spending, saying Democrats are going to far. That's quite the understatement. Democrats are promoting the fiction that economists support them, but few do. Krugman and a couple of other charlatans, but that's it.

How desperate is George Bush for a legacy? Even though 17 of the 50 biggest school districts in America fail half of their students, George Bush is going to pretend "No Child Left Behind" is a success. Talk about delusional. History will not treat Bush kindly. The greatest irony of the Bush legacy is history will credit Bush with success in Iraq (even if Obama trashes it - we've grown past the Vietnam era when liberals could rewrite history to suit their ideology) despite his enormous failures in that war. What a sad 8 years for America.

The cost of all the government bailouts in 2008 exceeds the cost of all the major wars America has ever fought combined.

These claims of misstatements by the Bush administration in the run up to the Iraq war are laughable. There's not one solid claim in them. The closest is a the Muhommad Atma claim that was substantiated by other intelligence agencies although not our own. This is mealy-mouthed baloney from a Democrat dominated led organization intended to bolster the false claim that the Bush administration lied to get us into war. We have plenty of things to rip Bush about, including his handling of the Iraq war, without having to make up lies and innuendo about him.
