I'm tired of hearing Republicans whining about Ross Perot and now Bob Barr. Republicans aren't victims of proponents of small government. They could have disarmed Ross Perot by embracing small government. Republicans can disarm Bob Barr by embracing freedom and small government. It's all up to them. They're responsible for their sucky candidates and big-government positions, so they better look in the mirror instead of attacking libertarians.
Republicans have not lost an election when running on a small government platform since Barry Goldwater ran, but here they are embracing big government once again.
