Free kibbles

While we played pattycake with Iran and terrorists, China built a huge, secret Navy base to
house nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers to threatening shipping, its neighbors and the US. Until we acknowledge that the war on terror is just a ploy by China and Russia to distract us and weaken us while China and Russia advance both economically and militarily until they can challenge us directly, we're doomed to lose this new Cold War of Terror. Unfortunately, our government policy is to increase the size of government, drive the price of oil to enrich
terrorist nations, and continue playing pattycake with the terrorists and China and Russia's proxy nations, Iran, North Korea, and Syria, accelerating the squandering of our resources and accelerating China and Russia's ascension.

Al Qaeda capitalizes on the battle between the Iraqi government and the Mehdi Army by attacking a market in Diyala province with a pair of suicide bombers.

US airstrike kills head of al Qaeda in Somalia. Excellent! We should do that to bin Laden too.

Bank of England says the credit crunch crisis is overstated. Thank you.

Thanks to the energy policies of the 2 parties, restricting drilling in ANWR and the Gulf, restricting building new refineries, restricting new alternative energy power plants like nuclear, coal,  natural gas, and subsidizing the energy industry, and growth in demand for oil, Saudi Arabia is experiencing a golden era. And we're paying for it.

Persian Gulf countries consider dropping pegs of their currency to the dollar.

Italy publishes incomes and tax payments of every person in Italy to web.

West Coast dock workers strike for 1 day over the Iraq war. I guess they want us to win and come home.

Reason supports building a large DNA database of arrestees to solve crimes. That's crap. Making a fingerprint database is crap. If you think we should build a large DNA database including innocent people, why not just take DNA from every child born in America? This doesn't pass the stink test, and neither does adding innocent people who are wrongly arrested to such a database.

Reason reviews a book explaining how Democrats, liberals, and socialists took over the conservative movement, pretending to be Reaganites in order to successfully hijack the revolution, and renamed themselves neocons. Thus we have Bush the Democrat as president, and McCain the Democrat running as the Republican this year. Thus we have liberal socialists competing with conservative socialists to bury the American people under which flavor of socialism wins on any given issue. Socialists are the big winners, and the American people will be the ultimate losers.

Liberals point out that McCain's proposals would cost billions, but don't bother to mention that Clinton and Obama's proposals would cost hundreds of billions.

Obama plays the class card, saying he and his wife grew up less priviliged than Clinton or McCain. Cry me a river. Obama's elitism doesn't stem from his upbringing, it stems from the
Marxist indoctrination he cultivated since he entered college.

Clinton surging after Rev. Wright exposed Obama for the shining hypocrite most of us
already knew he was.

Ron Paul's book hits #1 on Amazon.

The islanders of Lesbos go to court to try and take the name lesbian back from female homosexuals.

Targets of Justice Dept. prosecutions suffer series of mysterious crimes.

Cato describes how universities are spending their money on things other than teaching students, and the a big part of the reason is government subsidies.

Cato says cellulosic ethanol will divert food and water from growing food the same way corn
based ethanol does, and that government should not subsidize any of it.

Starbuck's earnings down 21%. I guess the latte liberals are hurting. Or maybe they finally figured out Starbuck's coffee sucks.

I doubt anybody suddenly discovered a way to grow back a severed finger. But it would be great if they did.

Cloned horse gives birth to healthy foal.

The stupidity never ends. After doubling the size of government, driving us far more deeply into debt, and signing the energy bill subsidizing corn that sparked world-wide food shortages, Bush wants to borrow more money and put us deeper into debt by sending food aid to poor countries (further reducing the supply of food  in the US). Just cut the size and scope of government, start paying off the debt, remove the destructive subsides, and let the free market work. Just how much debt do the government aristocrats want to saddle us with? Will they be happy before we're all bankrupt and working for them in chains? Rhetorical question.
