Tax and Spend

Here's another example of the power of the incumbent to buy votes: Obama sending $1000 million in stolen money to the states to prevent layoffs until after the election.
"The Labor Department announced on Monday that it will be awarding almost $100 million in grant funding to states to prevent layoffs by allowing businesses to pay employees as part-time workers and the federal government will pick up the tab for the cost of a full-time paycheck."
Our political system is a farce.

From 1999 to 2011, ExxonMobile paid $1,075.13 billion - that's over a trillion dollars - in taxes while making only $352.53 billion in profit. So much for claims that Exxon doesn't pay its enough taxes.
