Free kibbles

It's Super Tuesday. Voters vote in 24 states. Huckabee wins West Virginia.

As long as drugs are illegal, I'm all for drug tests for candidates.

Israel's spy agency Mossad projects Iran will have a nuclear weapon in 3 years.

US Director of National Intelligence reports that al Qaeda is recruiting westerners for future attacks on the US. He also warns that Russia, China, and OPEC could use their rapidly growing wealth against us. Duh. And our policies are making them richer and us closer to bankruptcy every day.

Police have not turned over hand-held video in forced strip lawsuit.

4th internet cable cut in the Middle East.

Reason warns against mandated health care from Romney, Schwarzenegger, and Hillary.

Foxnews has hired Karl Rove as an analyst. There's a long, sordid tradition of liberals moving from politics into news and pretending to be unbiased, but at least Rove is not pretending to be a news person. But why would Fox hire Rove? He's universally hated for his liberal policies that are tearing the nation and Republicans apart.

It looks like Democrats might finally quit hiding from Foxnews. What a bunch of cowards that they wouldn't debate on Foxnews.

Hillary Clinton managed to win a lot of votes from women in New Hampshire by publicly crying before the election. It wasn't hard to predict we would see more tears before another vote. Sure enough, she decided to tear up in front of a women's event the day before Super Tuesday.

Chelsea Clinton passing around email of radical feminist essay in support of Hillary. It's bizarre to read the feminist. She can't seem to grasp that Hillary is an individual, and Hillary has earned the antipathy of the entire country over the last 16 years. She only sees group identities: evil men, victimized women, blacks and whites. She can't see individuals. This collectivist, non-individual view of the world is dangerous. On one hand she wants women to stop being the victims of men, but on the other hand she doesn't hold Hillary responsible for what Bill Clinton is saying in her campaign. I guess the little woman can't be in charge of her own campaign because Bill is too powerful for her. She doesn't hold Hillary responsible for protecting a serial philanderer and sexual abuser. Very twisted.

Precursor molecules to life may have formed in ice.

Reason talks Lost.

How to fix undersea fiber-optic cables.

Spokesman for Florida Department of Children and Families busted for child porn.

Cato is against taxpayer funding of elections. I don't like the restrictions either, but I think the public is served by having all messages heard, not just the ones who can find rich backers. If a candidate can get enough signatures to get on a national ballot, I support providing matching funds so no candidate can be overwhelmed by the money of another.

Government has finally sucked Google into becoming a government organ, and competition with Microsoft happens in Washington as much as in the marketplace. This is how government corrupts corporations, undermining free markets to the detriment of everybody but the government and the corporations. As corporations become ever more enmeshed with government, they become protected by government, and costumers pay the price.

Cato understands that the Iraq war strengthened Iran by removing Iran's biggest competitor, and they advocate finding a way to negotiate with Iran based on that new power. But they fail to understand that winning in Iraq will reduce Iran's power by creating another powerful country that is friendly to the US.

British taxpayers are funding a terrorists supporter raising money for jihadists. This is outrageous.

Britain gives special rights for Muslim schools and Muslim doctors. Britain to provide extra welfare for each additional wives a man has. You've got to be kidding me.

Long list of shady and fraudulent Clinton donors. Bill Clinton undercuts US diplomacy and score a $30 million donation for shady deal for uranium. Why isn't this big news? Rhetorical question.

China has coldest winter in 100 years. I noticed that Al Gore has been lying low, and the alarmism has quieted considerably. Gore must be praying, chanting, and burning incense hoping for strong hurricanes to bash the US so he can work the public into another frenzy with his lies.

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) budget projections up to 2075. Our government is going to bankrupt us all.

Illegal aliens are fleeing states that have enacted tough laws against hiring them. As I've said all along, we don't need a fence. We just to need to enforce the laws against hiring illegal aliens and cut off their benefits. After we remove the economic incentive for them to be here, they'll self-deport.

2 sisters in Iran have been sentenced to death by stoning for being in the presence of other men without their husbands. I wonder if Iran will go through with it. This would provoke international outrage when the UN is debating additional sanctions. It's terrible to have to think of it in those terms instead of just the human tragedy, but Iran forces us to.

Looks like Wikipedia has found itself in the middle of a controversy over a picture of Mohammad. Muslims want it taken down. Wikipedia says no. At least nobody has threatened to blow up Wikipedia. I wonder if the site will get hacked.

Now that McCain's in the lead, talk radio is excoriating him for not being conservative. But none of the Republican candidates are conservative, except Ron Paul.

Paul Volker's monetary policy almost sunk the Reagan Revolution.

Trying to dismiss the analysts who see America in decline by pointing out that all previous predictions of American decline were wrong just shows that there isn't a good argument against decline. Knocking down the bogus of arguments of liberals is easy. Our path of decline is from titanic government, none of those liberal bogeymen. Don't get me wrong, decline is not inevitable (neither is continuing to stay on top). But it will take dramatic change in our tax structure and the size and scope of government to reverse the trend and return America to a trajectory of greatness, and the momentum of government please vote for is going in the opposite direction.

Limbaugh's campaign against McCain.
