Egypt seals Gaza border.

Ohio woman sues sheriffs over needless strip search. This was done by 7 sheriff's deputies and is just one of thousands of incidents that illustrate the institutional abuse perpetrated by police officers on American citizens every day.

Deforestation in Africa.

Court rules that New York must recognize gay marriages of couples performed elsewhere. I don't understand how a government can avoid this. A civil union is a contract like any other contract. The only reason this is a problem is government is too involved in people's lives. If it wasn't for welfare benefits, social security, government involvement in health care, etc., and their effect on spouses, government would have no interest in this issue. If we dramatically reduce the size and scope of government, this issue will go away because people freed from the burden of government will do what they want and leave each other alone.

Largest Spanish language newspaper in the US endorses Obama and McCain. If conservatives held the beliefs they pay lip service to all the time, all these endorsements, and McCain's big government, anti-freedom positions, would have flushed McCain from contention, but the opposite is true. Arizona's illegal immigration activists despise McCain. That isn't stopping him from rising in the polls.

Romney wins Maine, with Ron Paul under-performing expectations and coming in 3rd with 19%. That's too bad. While 19% is a big improvement, Maine was Paul's best hope for a win so far.

Hillary Clinton is happy to have Ann Coulter's vote. Anybody who think Coulter was joking or playing a game regarding supporting Hillary instead of McCain is mistaken.

Clinton supports garnishing wages of workers to force them to buy health insurance. Hillary Clinton doesn't even know what the word freedom means.

Obama says he supports gun rights but in fact he has long record of supporting gun control.

Doctors cultivate new jawbone from stem cells and grow it inside patient's abdomen.

Wall Street Investors and CEOs are behaving like children.

Taking shots at Reagan doesn't make McCain any better of a candidate.

No candidate has a plan to return America to a trajectory of greatness. The only way to do that is to dramatically cut the size and scope of government, reform taxes like adopting the FairTax, and stopping the southern invasion.

George Will counsels calmness over the investments of sovereign wealth funds.

A rare attack by the mainstream media on China's authoritarian, terrorist supporting regime, calling for the EU to take action.

Dick Morris explains that Bill Clinton will be as nasty and troublesome a co-president as he is a co-candidate.
