I've long proposed that libertarians take over the Republican party. Ron Paul supporters did that in several states, only to have the party establishment reject the democratically elected officials, like in Alaska. So much for that idea.

I like this comparison of government to a volcano. It may not have exploded on us recently, but we shouldn't be lulled into a false sense of security. It will.
