A fourth graffiti threat forces evacuation of Tipp City school. Why are military personnel searching the school? Why are we allowing military to act like police?
"Nothing dangerous or out of the ordinary was found, according to Superintendent John P. Kronour.
Tuesday’s threat comes on the heels of three consecutive threats last week — on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Until Tuesday, all of the recent threats were found at the district’s high school. Tuesday’s was the first at the middle school.
“It’s getting old,” Kronour said."
I bet it is. Somebody is making the school district and police look like idiots. People used to use judgment in their lives. Government automatically jumps to knee-jerk alarmism.

A copycat makes a threat at Troy High School. This is what happens when the government makes fools of everybody.

Wind knocks out power to 1,300.

Woman sues, claiming she was fired for voting for Obama. What's wrong with that? She acted in a way that the company's owners felt harmed the company.

First Four festival canceled just weeks before schedule. They blame turnover in people.
"The NCAA is not permitting local sponsorships for public events because of “significant turnover” in its organization, according to a letter from J.P. Nauseef, LOC chairman."
That's ridiculous. This is about money. The NCAA didn't want it's name used to promote a local event unless it got a cut.

Police shoot two dogs on drug raid. No mention if drugs were found or if they had a warrant.

NATO obfuscates how Fairborn grad was killed in Afghanistan.
"A Fairborn High School and Wright State University graduate who deployed overseas as a civilian defense contractor in Afghanistan died of wounds in a non-combat related firearms incident, a NATO International Security Assistance Force spokesman said Tuesday.
Officials also say the incident does not appear to be a suicide."
So why obfuscate? Tell us what happened. Her family at least deserves to know.
"The military did not immediately release additional information on what happened. “The incident is under investigation,” Wojack said in an email."
It sounds like NATO is covering its butt. More on the investigation.
"Army Criminal Investigation Command spokesman Chris Grey in Quantico, Va., said an investigation could take weeks or longer.
“Our (investigative) special agents won’t make a final determination until a thorough, complete investigation is conducted,” he said. “Aside from that, we are not releasing any information at this time to protect the integrity of the case.”"
The public won't be paying attention then.
