Fairborn grad turned civilian contractor killed in Afghanistan.

A new natural gas fueling facility is approved in Fairborn. I hate the word approved like I hate the word allowed. Why Fairborn? Why not downtown Dayton? It's got to be the drive from the suburbs to the city.

I feel so privileged that Montgomery County central planners will reveal their central plans for our future.

"Montgomery County Commissioners will reveal initiatives they believe will move the county’s economy forward at the final MCOFuture Forum scheduled for Wednesday."

This article reeks of elitism and paternalism just the central planners themselves.

"The commissioners have spent a year conducting community forums and gathering research to learn why other communities of similar size have enjoyed more economic success and growth, while Montgomery County lost jobs and population."

Really? Did they learn that lower taxes and less government promotes economic growth?

"These initiatives are all aligned with what citizens said they want, Commissioner Debbie Lieberman has said."

Are they aligned with what I want? I want them to abolish themselves. Let's see if their plan is aligned with what I want.
