Health Care

Another consequence of government's control of our food supply: horse meat in ground beef. Imagine if we had a free market in food. All our meet would come from local farmers and local processors. If anybody put horse meat in ground beef, they would instantly go bankrupt. The harsh consequences of the market would prevent this fraud. But since government controls our food supply through heavy regulation and subsidies, it has established giant corporate agents that face very little competition to carry out its edicts. So we end up with horse meat in ground beef, and the corporation that committed fraud will suffer no real penalty for it.
