Free kibbles

FREEDOM OF SPEECH:

Amazon, Facebook and Google are considering blacking out their pages with anti-censorship messages to protest SOPA. I hope they do it, but if they do, the politicians will attack them mercilessly. I bet right now politicians are on the phone to the CEOs of those companies threatening them if they do this.

Belarus government bans foreign websites. Wow. Talk about censorship and protectionism all rolled into one.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Fracking blamed for minor earthquakes in eastern Ohio.

POLICE STATE:

Techies have become aware of the police state. This doesn't bode well for the police state.

POLITICS:

Santorum has the momentum in Iowa as he polls a close third behind Paul and Romney. He would be another flash in the pan like Bachmann, Perry, Cain and Gingrich - somebody who would quickly fade under scrutiny - but he's flashing at the right time. There will be no scrutiny before the caucuses. A good showing in Iowa could make him the top establishment alternative to Romney.

Response to Politico claim that Paul operates a slow schedule in Iowa because of his age: baloney.

Why would Ron Paul say this this way?
"When asked Monday during an ABC News interview in Des Moines whether he sees himself in the Oval Office, Paul replied: "Not really, but I think it's a possibility.""
That may be an honest answer, but he could have given a more positive, honest answer.
