Free kibbles

SOCIALISM:

Unions have joined the Wall Street protesters. Obama must be giddy with joy. Apparently this is a very small group of only hundreds, but you would think it was as large as the many tea party rallies. But not even close.

ECONOMY:

Democrats have yet to introduce Obama's so-called jobs bill, but he's blaming Republicans. He's a one-trick pony.

TAX AND SPEND:

Senate Democrats add a 5 percent millionaire's tax to Obama's jobs bill. They want to crash their ship on that tax. Maybe that works for Reid, Schumer and Durbin, but I don't understand why the majority of Democrats would support that. It's just going to make their losses bigger next November.

Graphic shows how much people in different income brackets pay in taxes. Needless to say, the top earners pay far away the most taxes.

Claim that Michelle Obama spends $10 million taxpayer dollars a year on vacations.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Global warming fraud Michael Mann pulls out the long discredited claim that climate scientists are being out-funded by skeptics. Anthony Watts responds:
"The US government has provided over $79 billion since 1989 on policies related to climate change, including science and technology research, foreign aid, and tax breaks."
"Carbon trading worldwide reached $126 billion in 2008. Banks are calling for more carbon-trading. And experts are predicting the carbon market will reach $2 – $10 trillion making carbon the largest single commodity traded."
Carbon trading schemes are now collapsing, but they still funded the frauds for years.
"Meanwhile in a distracting sideshow, Exxon-Mobil Corp is repeatedly attacked for paying a grand total of $23 million to skeptics—less than a thousandth of what the US government has put in, and less than one five-thousandth of the value of carbon trading in just the single year of 2008."
The frauds are funded 1,000 greater than skeptics. Because they control all that money, they control the IPCC, the peer review process and the editorial staff of the major science magazines. All have been thoroughly corrupted by the government money. Mann is a fraud in more ways than one.

Solar cycle 24 takes a giant leap forward in September.

POLICE STATE:

New Illinois IPASS device has a camera that watches the occupants of the car.

Will AG Holder be treated the same as Roger Clemens for allegedly lying to Congress?

WAR:

A majority of American vets agree with the public on this:
"About half (51 percent) of post-9/11 veterans say that the use of military force to fight terrorism creates hatred that breeds more terrorism; 40 percent say it is the best way to defeat terrorism. These views are nearly identical to those of the general public."
A majority of the military and a majority of the public understand. But our rulers want control of Afghanistan's mineral wealth and Iraq's oil wealth, so the wars continue.

POLITICS:

Herman Cain on record one week before the collapse in September of 2008 saying the economy was in fine shape. This kind of stuff should disqualify anybody from being president which means every candidate but Ron Paul should be disqualified.

Perry wants to send US troops into Mexico to wage war on drug cartels. I swear to God our politicians get more nuts every day.

Evidence grows that Chris Christie is a progressive like pretty much every other Republican.

Ron Paul received $8 million in donations this quarter and has 100,000 donors.

MISC:

Boy was I wrong about the timing of Steve Jobs leaving Apple. He died today.
