The four laws of government:
1. Government exists to enrich and empower the ruling class at the expense of the people.
2. Any government with the power to tax is the master, and everybody else is a slave.
3. Which faction of the ruling class is in power has no effect on laws 1 and 2.
4. The form of government has no impact on rules 1, 2 or 3.
Ruling classes have always had factions. Individuals in the ruling class are always jocking for power. Sometimes they switch factions for personal gain. None of that has any impact on rule 1 and 2. All that changes when the faction in power changes is which special interests are more favored.
