Free kibbles

ECONOMY:

Obama's policies ensure a long depression.

TAX AND SPEND:

Federal salaries explode."Cauchon finds that since the economy fell into recession, the number of federal workers earning more than $150,000 has more than doubled. The federal government has become extremely bloated and top heavy, even as families and businesses across the nation have had to tighten their belts. With 383,000 workers earning six-figure salaries, the government has become an elite island of overcompensated administrators immune from the competitive job realities of average families."The looters in action.

Cato thinks Obama's deficit reduction commission is just a stalking horse for a VAT tax. Any time government empanels a bipartisan commission, the people lose even worse than usual.

GUN CONTROL:

Gun control is so out of control in America that New York City has banned the sale of toy guns and is raising the penalty by 500 percent.

HEALTH CARE:

Obama telling Republicans to stop scaring people about Obamacare is rich. I don't know whether to put this one down as stupid or evil. Does Obama really think his program will be a net benefit to Americans? Surely not. He knows darn good and well that none of his proposed goals are going to be met. He knows the real cost. He knows millions of Americans will ignore the mandate and become criminals. He knows that health care quality will go down and the price will go up. He knows that we'll lose a tremendous amount of freedom. On the other hand, I think of how brainwashed those Ivy leaguers are. It's possible this is just stupid, not evil. But I don't think so. I don't think Obama was brainwashed at Columbia and Harvard. From what we learned of him before the election, it sounds like he understood his mission to incite a revolution before he ever went there, and just went there to get his bona fides to obtain the power to achieve his mission. I think this health care plan is just a way for Obama to collapse the US economy faster.

Senate changes to Medicare could bring about a single-payer system even faster than the public option. That's the plan. Democrats have designed their system to overburden private sector insurance and health care so that system will fail and they can say we tried using a the private sector to fix the problem, but now the only solution is socialized medicine.

Cato attacks the unconstitutional individual mandate in Reid's health care oppression bill.

GLOBAL WARMING:

So the UN wants to tax rich countries to pay for climate science. We've already seen how government money corrupts science. Imagine if the most corrupt and secretive institution in the world, the UN, took over responsibility for funding the science.

The radical environmentalist segment of the global warming fraud has always hated people and modern society. They consider humanity and our achievements to be a blight on the world, so it's not surprising that population control is being considered to solve the non-existent anthropogenic global warming problem. You may think I exaggerate when I say that if these frauds get their way, they will control our very breath. I'm not.

If George Soros wants to transfer wealth to undeveloped countries because of global warming or any other reason, he can do so voluntarily and leave the rest of us alone.

US pushes rich nations to cut CO2 to pre-20th century levels while subsidizing poor nations to cut their CO2. This shows once again the real goal of the communists and the environmentalists who hate humanity - to make everybody in the world equally destitute. Fortunately US negotiators don't want to pay China to cut emissions, but China wants more than the UN deal offers. While this spat sounds like it will prevent anything meaningful to come out of this conference, there's still over a week to go and the most dangerous frauds haven't even shown up yet.

POLITICS:

40 percent of Americans would rather have George Bush in office. If somebody put a gun to my head and made me choose between Bush and Obama, I'd take Bush without hesitation, but otherwise I'll choose none of the above. On the other hand, I haven't changed my opinion that had McCain won, the damage done by government over the next four years would have been more than with Obama in the White House. If McCain had been in the White House, Republicans would not have resisted anything he did. McCain would have passed a big, probably not as big, but still big, stimulus boondoggle. Tax and trade would already be law. We'd have more troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and we'd probably we at war with Iran by now. McCain did have a far superior health care plan though. If Obamacare passes, I'll probably have to admit I was wrong about this.

The Congressional Black Caucus is upset that Obama hasn't taken more money from white people and given it to blacks. I'm sure Rev. Wright feels the same way.

Republicans don't want Harry Reid to take the weekend off and go to a fundraiser because they want to defeat him next year.

Here's a nice states rights issue: Politician barred from holding office because he's an atheist. Needless to say, the federal government thinks it trumps states rights on this issue.
