Free kibbles

The House backs off plans to buy 5 Gulf Streams - reduces order to what the Pentagon originally requested. This may seem like nothing, but it once again shows the power of the people. This government belongs to us if we have the commitment to claim it.

Chevy Volt to get 230 MPG city, but it melts in the rain.

Democrat congressman compares health care protesters and limited government supporters to Timothy McVeigh. This is what aristocrats think of grass roots Americans. Another congressman compares protesters to the Klu Klux Klan. We're watching history. Our government is melting down before our eyes. For the first time since at least the Great Depression, maybe longer, the people are standing up and saying 'no' to the aristocrats, and the aristocrats are melting down.

I've often explained how aristocrats are different from normal people. They crave power over others. They share numerous common traits with serial killers. Every one of them is such a professional, accomplished and pervasive liar, all could pass a lie detector test with flying colors. They can erase companies on a whim and raise them from the dead on another. These people are the most powerful and power hungry people on the planet, and therefore the most corrupt people on the planet. These are not normal human beings, and they're so used to having our power, using our power against us and selling our power to the highest bidders, that they can't handle being told 'no'. So they're melting down.

And of course Democrats, who accuse real grass roots protesters of being astroturf, are paying people to go to town halls and support health care.

The people are at the end of their rope. I think the people understand that this stuff isn't new under Obama. He's just taken it to such an extreme so fast that the people realize how much damage both parties have been doing to us for decades. I doubt our government will have the consent of the governed for a long time to come.

Here's a quote from Obama at his health "insurance" town hall today:
"And that's why I've pledged that I will not sign health insurance reform -- as badly as I think it's necessary, I won't sign it if that reform adds even one dime to our deficit over the next decade. And I mean what I say. "
We know Obama read the CBO report, so the Liar-in-Chief is at it again. The Liar-in-Chief also proclaims he was never a supporter of a single payer system. Video of Obama saying he's a proponent of a single payer system. This is why Obama doesn't like to speak without a teleprompter - in ad lib he compares the public option to the post office.

When I heard that Democrats were sending Obama to the front lines to make the case for Obamaoppressioncare, I said this would end his radical presidency. I get more convinced of that every day.

Obama and the Democrats are self destructing at a record pace, and we'll soon have big government, anti-American, slightly less worse than Democrats Republicans in charge again. Woohoo.

Article mentions that Oregon residents, stuck with socialized medicine, are being denied life-saving drugs and offered assisted suicide instead. Interview with Oregon woman, forced to live with socialized medicine, who was denied chemotherapy drug and offered assisted suicide in the same letter. This is what Obamacare will force on us.

Likely voters oppose Obamacare 53 to 42. Democrats don't care. It's all about power, not health care, and that means they'll try to force it down our throats.

Here's a nice, succinct summary of our economic problem:
"The principal problem with the current economic crisis is that the authorities are trying to solve the debt crisis by adding more debt — which is akin to trying to cure a viral infection by injecting more viruses. In case some have forgotten, the United States is undergoing a serious credit crisis, that is, a debt crisis."
I'm not so sure anything more need be said, but the article, happily, continues.
"Consumer credit, which in 1950 was only 6% of total gross domestic product (GDP), has by 2009 tripled to 18% of GDP. Bank credit, which in 1947 was 45% of GDP, has by 2009 risen to 67% of GDP. Household debt, which in 1957 was only about 45% of national income, peaked at over 120% of national income by 2007. According to the congressional budget office (CBO), federal debt, which was at an already-high level of 41% of GDP in 2008, is expected to balloon to 200% of GDP by 2038. The CBO expects federal debt to grow to 60% of GDP by 2010.
...
It is clear that policy makers [of both parties] agree on something: they want more credit in the system. But what this means is that, knowingly or unknowingly, policy makers want Americans and the country to go further into debt."
How do you think that'll work out for us?

The same economists who failed to predict the recession assure us it's over and call for Bernanke, who caused this crisis, to stay. Hurray for inflation and the manipulation of economic numbers it creates. I think those economists should have been fired long ago, but it's not too late to fire them today.

MSNBC commentator claims the word 'socialist' is become code for the N-word. So much for Barack Obama being post-racial.
