I just read the Senator's op-ed holding up Medicare as evidence that a government takeover of all health care is good for the country. Who does he think he's kidding? Medicare is bankrupting America. On the order of 30 percent of all Medicare payments are fraudulent. Medicare is the single biggest reason health care and health insurance costs have exploded in America since it was introduced.

Honesty is the best policy, and that op-ed was not honest.

Medicare is a disaster. The Federal government can't even administer relatively small programs like Medicare and Medicaid without bankrupting America. The Federal government can't even provide decent health care to America's heroes through the VA. Claiming the Federal takeover of our health care system will improve our health care is not something reasonable people can disagree on. It's an outright lie.
