Run For Your Lives! It's Gorezilla!

Run For Your Lives! It's Gorezilla!

by Mark Luedtke

Like a real-life Godzilla, Al Gore recently stomped through Washington, blasted skeptics with his monstrous ego, and threatened Thermageddon. The avatar of carbon hogging civilization threatened unprecedented droughts, floods, hurricanes and rising oceans that will swallow us all if we don't pay tribute. Questions about global cooling and how much he has personally profited from global warming alarmism bounced off Gorezilla's impenetrable hubris.

It's understandable that the Japanese created Godzilla to express their fear of the nuclear genie after we dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But Gorezilla is purely a creation of an unholy alliance between Al Gore and people like him who personally profit from the global warming fraud and anti-capitalists who will say or do anything to harm capitalism and human development. Thermageddon has no basis in reality.

Like all successful Big Lies, the man-made global warming fraud is based on often repeated half-truths and outright lies:

Half-truth 1: The global climate record shows that increases in CO2 warm the planet. In fact, the record shows that increases in CO2 follow rises in temperature. The oceans are huge carbon sinks, and as the planet heats up, the oceans release CO2 about 800 years later. As temperatures fall, the ocean reabsorbs the CO2 about 800 years later.

Half-truth 2: Sea levels are dangerously rising due to melting ice in the Arctic, Antarctica and of glaciers. In fact, sea levels have been steady for several years, but sea levels have risen slowly and steadily throughout the development of civilization. Arctic ice extent and depth is growing after a recent retreat. Antarctic ice is growing steadily over the vast majority of Antarctica and only melting on a tiny portion of the continent, making for a huge net increase in ice. Ice sheets are melting on the coast of Greenland but growing in central Greenland, making for an insignificant net loss of ice. Some glaciers are growing and others are shrinking based on local climate conditions. Overall, sea ice and land locked ice are increasing on the planet.

Half-truth 3: The planet underwent alarming heating during the 20th century, and that warming trend is continuing. In fact, 1934 is tied with 1998 as the hottest year on record. Global temperature dropped then rose in between, and the planet has cooled since. Climate change in the 20th century is more tightly correlated to the price of stamps than to CO2. It was hotter during the Medieval Warm Period and even hotter during the time of Jesus, with cooler periods in between. Fraudulent NASA pseudo-scientist James Hansen has been caught intentionally manipulating data to make temperatures appear lower in the past and hotter recently. Unfortunately, his manipulated data makes headlines. His corrections don't.

Half-truth 4: Research by global warming skeptics is funded by Big Oil. It's true that Big Oil spends millions funding climate change research. But the US government alone spends over $2 billion annually on politicized global warming research. Other governments, even more statist than the US, spend billions as well. Global warming research funding is overwhelmingly controlled by leftists with a vested interest in promoting global warming alarmism so they can expand government, and the press is dominated by leftist propagandists and capitalists who use alarmism to sell stories. The New York Times was recently forced to correct an article claiming corporations were promoting fraudulent science. But fraudulent science is rampant among global warming alarmists.

Half-truth 5: Climate models predict dangerous global warming. That's true, but those climate models, when run in reverse, are proven to be wildly inaccurate and therefore useless. They're also the basis for the lie that polar bears are endangered. In fact, polar bears are thriving.

Lie 1: Global warming is responsible for more and bigger hurricanes, droughts and floods. You can look at the 1913 flood markers to measure this lie. There's no statistical difference between hurricanes, floods and droughts today than previously. Natural disasters happen now the same as ever, but today we have higher population, higher property values and 24 hour news networks that make them seem more frequent and destructive.

Lie 2: Atmospheric CO2 is at record levels. The climate record shows times when CO2 was up to 16 times higher in the past, but the planet didn't experience catastrophic warming. Because of its physical properties, CO2 can't produce runaway global warming.

Lie 3: Al Gore conserves energy and doesn't profit from global warming alarmism. In fact, Gorezilla's carbon footprint is over 20 times the national average, and he's made at least $10s of millions promoting the man-made global warming fraud.

The biggest lie of all is that there is a scientific consensus blaming man for climate change. Just in March, hundreds of brave skeptical climate scientists risked their professional lives to challenge Gorezilla. Scientists at the second International Conference on Climate Change presented scientific data refuting Gorezilla's fraudulent claims and discussed how to stop Congress from passing damaging legislation based on the fraud.

Great Falls, Montana had record snow fall on April 29th. We've had record setting winters the last 3 winters in a row. There is no informed disagreement that the planet is cooling and has been since 1998 despite rising CO2 levels.

Yet Gorezilla, President Obama, Democrats and many Republicans continue to promote the most dangerous fraud since Marx's workers paradise. The EPA declared that CO2, your breath, plant food, is a pollutant subject to government regulation. Gorezilla's allies are rushing Obama's $900 billion carbon cap and trade tax through Congress. But it's not a climate crisis they're racing. They're racing public opinion. Only 30 percent of Americans support cap and trade. Only 34 percent of Americans think humans cause climate change. The American people aren't stupid, but Gorezilla, Obama and company are playing us for fools. Climate changes naturally, and humans need as much wealth as possible to adapt as effectively as possible.

Much like the Japanese in those old Godzilla movies were helplessly dependent on one monster to save them from another, in this real life horror, we're stuck depending on inept Republicans and rust belt Democrats to save us from the monsters of Thermageddon. Save us from Gorezilla!

The popular author Orson Scott Card tells the true story of IPCC scientists
who intentionally lied to falsely promote their ideology of
anthropomorphic global warming, others who intentionally looked the
other way, and the accomplice press who also intentionally looks the
other way. He makes a point to show that these liberal leaders are
doing exactly what they accuse the Bush of administration of having
done in the run up to the Iraq war. He makes only tiny note that human
produced CO2 has an negligible impact on the greenhouse effect, but it
does make trees and plants grow because it's a natural plant food.

Fantastic analysis of how solar cycles,
length more than height, drive climate. Analysis predicts we are
entering a climate cycle at least as cold as the Dalton Minimum, and
maybe as bad as the Maunder Minimum, which was the little ice age. It
predicts temperatures will drop 2 degrees C in the next decade. It also
shows that CO2 is good for the climate in every, slightly warming it,
because increasing CO2 only has a logarithmic increase on temperatures,
it can't do any harm. It also shows how increasing atmospheric CO2
increases plant growth and therefore crop productivity, which will be
necessary during the shortened growing season. This is a long, detailed
presentation, full of charts and graphs, but it's easy to follow for
anybody.

Global temperature changes caused by postage stamp rate increases. This graph really blows the man-made global warming fraud out of the water.

Glaciers grow and shrink based on local climate changes. Great lake levels are back to normal after lowering because of ice dams. New York Times corrects story about industry intentionally clouding global warming debate. Ice loss in Greenland is minuscule. More fraudulent climate science. Al Gore's carbon footprint is more than 20 times the national average. Obama's $900 billion cap and trade tax. Global warming doesn't effect hurricanes. CO2 was 16 times higher in the past.

CO2 follows global warming by 800 years. As of 1999, the US spent $2.1 billion annually on climate change research. Only 34 percent of Americans blame humans for climate change. Only 30 percent of Americans support cap and trade.

Ten myths about global warming from an Australian perspective. I like the term thermageddon. I'm glad it's in common usage. Another (minute) sunspot from solar cycle 23 has appeared, showing that solar cycle 24 is still a no show. Only 30 percent of Americans support cap and trade. Arctic sea ice extent recovering. Arctic sea ice thicker than expected. Antarctic ice growing. Global sea ice is higher than normal. Record snow in Great Falls, Montana.

NASA manipulating historical temperature data to make it look like we're suffering global warming. NASA temperature data before being manipulated to appear as if we're suffering global warming by James Hansen. This Hansen guy has been busted for incorrect data before.

Al Gore is an accomplished and successful liar, and he knows fraud is a crime, so I'm not surprised that he lied to a Senate subcommittee
about how much money he has made off promoting the man-made global
warming fraud and how much more money he stands to make if his
oppressive tax scheme passes. This article doesn't say whether he was
under oath or not. I hope so. Al Gore should be prosecuted for fraud. 10 questions that should be asked of Al Gore.
