Free kibbles

Ocean currents don't work like expected, meaning another variable in climate modeling is all wrong.

GM to close 1,100 dealerships.

Wayman Tisdale died from cancer at age 44. Wow. Talk about it could happen to anybody.

Mises scholar predicts more people will be harmed by unscrupulous lenders because of credit card legislation.

Hoofy and Boo on the Chrysler-Fiat shotgun wedding. Ouch.

George Will lists several of Obama's most flagrant flauntings of the rule of law.

Raising the minimum wage costs jobs. There is no free lunch.

There is no way we can allow Obama or anybody else to detainee terrorists on US soil indefinitely without trial. That can never be allowed anywhere. Holding enemy combatants until the end of a war is one thing - but indefinite detention without trial can never be allowed. Obama's like George Bush on steroids.

Sen. Slime Specter is willing compromise on card check bill if it will get him reelected.

Obama says that his deficit spending is unsustainable, but cutting spending is not even in his vocabulary. He's laying the groundwork to raise taxes on everybody just as we knew he had to to pay for his radical leftist agenda.

DHS is rewriting the document on right-wing extremism. I feel so much better.

I applaud this attempt to block ACORN from receiving Federal funds, but I'd be far happier if the Justice Department was investigating it for organized crime.

Obama is handing out even more of your money to deadbeats who won't pay their own mortgages.

The western Antarctic ice sheet is not in danger of collapsing, so I'm not impressed with this analysis that it would be less devastating than previously reported.

US sending special forces into Pakistan. Why does training Pakistani forces require US personnel to be in the war zone? This sounds more like expanding our war against the Taliban, whom we should not be at war with at all, into Pakistan. I don't like the sound of this.

Since when did Guantanamo detainees become merely "suspects" who need more legal protections? No thank you. Turn the criminals over to civilian authorities and try the enemy combatants in Nuremburg-style military tribunals to publicize their actions before locking them away until the end of the war, until they or executing them. Obama is screwing this up pretty much the same way Bush did.
