Do non-sanctioned meetings between Iranians and Americans mean anything? I suppose to the extent of the influence these people have with government officials, they have some tiny meaning.
Zimbabwe Court refuses to order election officials to release election results.
Government interference in the health care market leads to CEOs of health insurance companies making bazillions. The value for companies is in lobbying govenment officials, navigating the bizarre maze of our tax code, and making regulations work for your company while hurting your competitors. That makes for high CEO salaries and low salaries for workers. It the same with every industry to a greater or lesser extent.
Bush caves on global warming fraud, asking Congress to pass bill. While saying this is an effort to stop a coming regulatory nightmare, capitulating to this fraud will only make that nightmare worse. He should have the Justice Dept. investigate Al Gore and other carbon offset snake oil salesmen for fraud instead.
Clinton compares Obama to Kerry and Gore, out of touch elitists. Clinton reads the stories about Democrats asking Gore to talk her into resigning from the race. I think she just gave her answer.
Clinton takes 20 point lead in Penn. Obama widens lead in NC. Obama and Clinton, race and gender, bitterness and lies are
dividing the Democrats more than ever.
Mickey Kaus finally notices that Obama never doubts nor apologizes for what he's said. He's perfect. The rest of us are just not enlightened enough to understand his superior insight.
Technology for cloning a child exists.
Marylin Monroe sex tape hits the market. This will be the biggest sex tape ever.
The murder of union workers in Columbia has been the excuse US unions have used to block free trade, but Cato explains that under Uribe, these murders have dropped significantly. If we really wanted to help Columbia reduce crime, we would sign this free trade agreement.
Boortz raises an interesting point about Obama's comments, thinking bitterness drives normal Americans to God. Obama thinks, like all liberals, normal Americans should look to government, not God, solve their problems. This is another example of how liberalism undermines religion.
What kind of boloney is this? The Maine house has passed a law making a crime to look at children in public, calling it visual sexual aggression. The languange in this article is nuts. It talks about "strengthening" the law. It talks about "closing loopholes". It talks about being a minor change. What the hell is minor about putting a man in prison for looking at kids? And if it's good for the kids, why not adults? I can just see the ballbusters putting men in jail for looking at them (or not looking at them, and really pissing them off).
