Free kibbles

Amb. Crocker informed Congress that Iran intends to create a Hezbollah-like militia in Iraq to promotes its interests, and the only thing stopping Iran from doing that is US forces.

North Korea and US reach deal for NK to disclose nuclear program. What kind of crap is this? We reached that deal with NK over a year ago, and NK has failed to live up to it. So now we're going to give them more stuff before they can back out again? Negotiating with this madman is stupid.

Geological survey finds extensive oil field in the Dakotas. No doubt eco-nuts are trampling the Dakotas in an attempt find any new or endangered species so they can block production and harm the US to the best of their ability.

Officials give Washington D.C. police access to 5,000 cameras. I'll take D.C. off my list of places to visit. Who wants to be monitored by police constantly?

Federal government employees charge web dating and lingerie to taxpayers.

Website publishes already public information about personal finances of Capital staffers. Excellent. We need to know where our tax dollars are going.

Taxpayer are paying for a Muslim school in Minnesota.

President Carter to meet with head of Hamas. Carter is a fool.

Reason calls biofuels the green mistake. That's an understatement.

New York Democrats plan to tax millionaires for mass transit. This will backfire. I'm sure those millionaires will be just as happy living where they're not taxed.

Democrats should oust Byrd for his earmarks and KKK history, but if they oust him for his health, he's still ousted.

I can't make this stuff up. After years of screaming that Bush invaded Iraq for oil, Democrats finally recognize that oil is a good thing, and they want Iraq to pay for rebuilding with oil. Why not? We should have done that from the beginning, and the only reason we didn't was because Democrats shrieked that oil was the reason we invaded, so that made it impossible for the US to use Iraq's oil revenues to help fund the war and reconstruction effort.

Relative reports that Clinton's version of the new mother dying story is true, not the hospital's. I doubt this is over yet. More details.

John McCain's ad man supports Barack Obama, and is making terrible, condescending ads for McCain. I think McCain is condescending all on his own.

McCain, Obama, and Clinton to all appear on American Idol. Didn't somebody say it wasn't that bad?

Thomas Sowell argues to allow children to drop out of school. We're not only allowing it. Thanks to our government schools, we're promoting it. School choice is the best solution. Parents take responsibility for seeing their kids an education. If the kids don't want one, they can drop out and learn from their mistake. But forcing kids to attend government schools is abusive to every student.

The Stonehenge diggers discovered what they were looking for - the remnants of the original blue stone layer.

US military to employ hand-held lie-detector. Designers say it isn't perfect, so it will be interesting to see how the troops use it. It's real easy to pass of decision-making to a device. I hope nobody ends up in detention simply because of this device.
