If Abbas really wants peace, he needs to recognize that Hamas is the enemy of peace and take action to disarm or destroy them. UN chief calls Israel's attacks disproportionate and excessive. Bull. There is no such thing as disproportionate response. Israel should not stop until Hamas is completely disarmed or destroyed. This isn't a parent scolding a child. This is a country protecting the lives of its citizens. If the Palestinians or Arab countries won't disarm Hamas, Israel has to do it themselves.

In a similar situation, Columbia attack FARC terrorists in Ecuador because Ecuador wouldn't disarm them. Columbia has the responsibility to protect its citizens, but now Chavez, who also allows FARC to operate in Venezuela, threatens war. Idiots.

Karl Rove understands that prematurely pulling out of Iraq will drive up oil prices significantly. So basically he's saying, now that we invaded, we're trapped into staying there. That's a good reason not to have invaded. How come he didn't use that wisdom to stop the invasion in the first place?

It points out the double-standard I'm sensing as well - it's OK for liberals to use Barack Hussein Obama's full name, but not for conservatives, because every time a conservative uses it, liberals instinctively brand them racists.
