At Least It's Entertaining

Democrats are famous for stealing elections, most famously when some Texas counties and Chicago rigged their vote counts to deliver the 1960 election for JFK. In 2000, Al Gore tried to use the courts to overturn the will of the Florida voters, and a circus of court cases tried to write new law to deliver the state for Gore. Fortunately, the US Supreme Court overturned the Florida Supreme Court, and the election was determined according to statute.

But because the stakes are so low, it's far more entertaining to watch one Democrat try to steal this year's nomination from another.

Reminiscent of 1960, some precincts in Clinton's home state reported hundreds of votes for Clinton and zero for Obama. No subtly there. New York officials were eventually forced to acknowledge those votes were rigged. The Nevada Culinary Workers Union rigged its caucuses in favor of Obama, but the teachers unions mobilized to deliver a victory for Clinton anyway. Now Texas caucuses report serious problems. Why obey the law when there's no penalty for breaking it?

Before the primary started, all the Democrat candidates agreed that the DNC would not seat the Florida and Michigan delegates at the convention. The candidates agreed not to campaign in those states. In Clintonian fashion, Clinton got on the ballot in Michigan and did some back-door campaigning in Florida anyway to guarantee she won both states. Now, to willfully blind Democrats' surprise, Hillary Clinton wants to seat those delegates because of feigned newly discovered respect for the democratic process. She planned to exploit this from the beginning.

And can we thank Barack Obama for his part in the entertainment? “Yes we can!” “Yes we can!” “Yes we can!” Instead of political discourse, Obama rallies resemble pagan ceremonies down to the frenzied worshippers succumbing to peyote.

Tribal drums are shaking the Democrat party apart. Maureen Dowd accuses Americans of misogyny and racism, and wonders which stain we'll remove first. Democrats long ago mastered playing the phony race/gender card against Republicans. Now they're playing it on each other, and it's more bitter and divisive than ever. You can't read an article about Democrats that doesn't talk about black, brown and white, men and women. Identity politics and white man's guilt rule. The Democrat party resembles the Balkans.

But unless you're a member of the Democrat club, don't use Barack Hussein Obama's full name lest they brand you a racist! Talk about projection.

And the way the Clinton attack machine plays politics, Obama must feel like he showed up to a debate and got mugged. The Clintons link him to Tony Rezko and drag his racist minister into the campaign. Hillary Clinton tells reporters that Obama is not a Muslim, at least as far as she knows. But when Obama calls for Clinton to release her tax records, her campaign compares him to Ken Starr. Obama better learn to defend himself.

The Clintons orchestrated the most corrupt administration we've ever seen. The media gives them a pass despite at least 16 law and business partners imprisoned for crimes they committed with the Clintons. The Clintons have never answered questions about their role in Whitewater, commodities investments, IRS audits, Vince Foster's files, failing to turn over subpoenaed records, and White House coffees. The press allowed them to stonewall while their partners silently rotted in prison.

Nobody asks the Clintons about donations from Chinese spies and their appointment of one to the Commerce Department overseeing China affairs. The Clintons have yet to answer questions about why Sandy Berger, their National Security Adviser, stole and destroyed Clinton records from the National Archives.

But Barack Obama takes a hit because Tony Rezko is on trial. That makes the score 16 convictions of partners, several Chinese spies raising funds, 1 National Security Adviser caught destroying records and a dozen unanswered for scandals for the Clintons compared to 1 presumed innocent fund raiser for Obama. But you wouldn't know that from reading the papers. Americans are so immersed in the Clintons' monstrous corruption, we're numb to the slime.

The Clintons' hundreds of illegally obtained raw FBI files must still be paying off. They never answered questions about those either.

The Democrat primary will probably end up like Florida in 2000, with lawsuits and backroom deals that ignore the will of voters. Government aristocrats always want more power. Democrats are a party of elites, exploiting race, gender, and class to expand government and take power from the people for themselves. And that's how their nominee will be chosen this year. The only question is, will the elites happen to go along with the popular vote winner, as they advocated in 2000 when it was in their favor, promoting the fiction that the party represents the common man, or will they exercise their superior wisdom and power over the common man and choose the other candidate. Tribal drums will answer either decision.

The most bitter disputes occur when the stakes are low, and the stakes have never been lower. Democrats are so blinded by race and gender, they can't see that neither matter for governing. Policy matters, and on policy, Clinton and Obama are identical twins - 2 socialist peas in a pod. In the end the joke's on us, because there's nothing funny about socialist aristocrats stealing our freedom, dividing the people and driving us toward financial ruin.
