Man jailed because he didn't take his tuberculosis medicine.

Now anti-American groups want videos of terrorist interrogations so they can show the terrorists exactly what techniques we use and render them ineffective. These far-left hate-America groups work overtime to help the enemy and hurt America.

Al-Qaeda sets off 2 more bombs in Iraq. They're trying hard to stay relevant, and for them, that means killing innocent people and staying in the news.

Israel to share intelligence on Iranian nuclear program with the US chairman of the joint chiefs of staff to prove Iran resumed developing a nuclear weapon after it stopped in 2003.

Hurricane forcasters who have incorrectly predicted above average hurricane seasons for the last three years look to make it four in a row by predicting yet another above average hurricane season. Because of the laws of statistics, we'll eventually have an above average year, so if they keep at it, they'll eventually get one right.

Reason calls the White House plan to freeze teaser interest rates delusional.

Democrats caving to Republicans on taxes, spending, and Iraq war. The 2 parties are so close together on these issue, both love high taxes and spending, it's just small percentage points that separate them, and both intend to keep troops in Iraq, it's just a matter of how many and how long. As always, no matter how much Republicans tax and spend, Democrats want a little more.

Democrats fail to report misconduct of congressional pages, just like Republicans. This is no surprise since the 2 parties are practically identical.

Bush's approval rating is plummeting among military families. The long war is hardest on military families.

Valerie Plame enjoys the celebrity life even though she won't pose for Playboy. Meanwhile, Scooter Libby is fighting his conviction in an appeals court even though he wasn't the guy who outed her. This is an abomination.

Pat Buchanan says Romney's speech on religion will give him a boost. Christopher Hitchens calls it worthless. I have no doubt that addressing the issue head on will gain Romney support.

Skin cells turned into stem cells treat sickle cell anemia.

John McEnroe thinks the mafia is infiltrating tennis and forcing players to throw matches.

Animated map shows the growth of obesity in the US. Wow.

Cato compares the US rewriting of loan contracts to bail out mortgage companies and people who bought loans they couldn't afford to third world counties undermining contract law.

Cato says we should grow our economy to more quickly develop technologies to help us adapt to inevitable climate change.

Why are critics so caught up on quoting the FairTax rate as embedded? If I'm not mistaken, a sales receipt breaks down the tax, so while it is embedded in the price for simplicity, it's not hidden.

Random thoughts from Thomas Sowell.

Pat Buchanan points out that diversity splits nations. America has definitely been served by the diverse people who came and melted in the melting pot into one nation. The problem is forced diversity that is tearing us apart. The immigration quotas from 1968 are nothing less than an attempt to demographically engineer America by forcing diversity on us. Illegal aliens are forcing diversity on us. The key is assimilation, not multi-culturalism.
