Progress report says Iraqi government met zero benchmarks set by Bush administration. Wow. That's an impressive failure. Paper says White House is in panic mode. They ought to be. How can you claim Americans should sacrifice lives when the Iraqi government doesn't work? In an ideal world, we would oust that bogus government too, and start over by building government from the grass-roots up, like we should have done the first time. But I don't think there's any way that can happen now.
