Sports

Roger Goodell and his officials stole a victory from San Fransisco in order to make Ray Lewis look good. Maybe Ray Lewis helped Goodell bury some bodies a while back because I can't think of another reason the league would embrace a participant in a double murder. Here's my late game analysis:
"The NFL looked like the NBA the way its officials rigged the game for Baltimore. Last I heard, hitting a receiver before the ball got there was a penalty, but the refs refused to call it over and over against Denver, and they refused to call it on what would have been San Fransisco's winning drive in the Super Bowl. What a bunch of crap. The NBA is no longer a major sport. The NFL travesty of a sport is on the same declining trajectory. Nobody likes cheaters. My Spurs know exactly how this corruption feels."
Those who didn't know it before learned the NFL is rigged. Ray Lewis was a participant in a double murder, yet the league was willing to rig a football game to promote him. Why? Because ESPN is the primary sports marketing organ in the world, and they want Lewis. The only thing we don't know is how long until Lewis is convicted of another violent crime. Unable to take focus his violent nature on other football players and unprotected by the NFL, Lewis will attack somebody, and ESPN won't protect him like the NFL did twelve years ago. This scumbag will get what he deserves, but the 49ers I hate so much, will never get back the win the NFL stole from them.

I'm having a hard time expressing how much I loath Ray Lewis. Bret Favre is one of the worst quarterbacks I ever saw. If he hadn't lost so many games for the Packers, they might have won three or four Super Bowls during his era. But Favre was a grossly selfish player. He didn't care about wins. All he cared about was his personal stats. Because of that, he threw more interseptions and lost more games than anybody other than Testiverde. But my disgust with Favre cannot be compared with my antipathy for Ray Lewis. As far as I know, Favre never killed anybody, let alone two people. He never got away with it. The NFL never covered up for his crimes. The NFL never promoted him despite his crimes. But at least he was a great players, unlike Favre. The only good people I know in sports play for my Spurs, and the NBA hates them.
