Foreign Policy

Iranian president sees end of US empire.
"In a blistering speech before the United Nations General Assembly, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed "a few bullying powers" for creating the world's problems and said the "American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road.""
This is from 2008, but this year he talked about a new world order without US bullying which is the same thing. Video. He isn't threatening us. He's observing our self-destruction, and he's right. He also said Iran is under threat from Israel and the US  (video) and he's right about that too. Our government is threatening Iran, not vice-versa. On the other hand, Ahmadinejad is threatening Israel.
""We do believe that they have found themselves at a dead end and they are seeking new adventures in order to escape this dead end. Iran will not be damaged with foreign bombs. We don't even count them as any part of any equation for Iran. During a historical phase, they [the Israelis] represent minimal disturbances that come into the picture and are then eliminated."
Note that word—"eliminated." When Iranians talk about Israel, this intention of a final solution keeps coming up. In October 2005, Mr. Ahmadinejad, quoting the Ayatollah Khomeini, said Israel "must be wiped off the map." Lest anyone miss the point, the Iranian President said in June 2008 that Israel "has reached the end of its function and will soon disappear off the geographical domain.""
Again, I think Ahmadinejad is commenting on the self-destruction of western civilization. When the US and Europe collapse, nobody will be able to prop up Israel. After 70 years of bullying, oppression, and war, Israelis will have to deal with a a billion pissed-off Muslims alone. They should be making peace as quickly as possible, not starting another war.
