Free kibbles

FASCISM:

Obama's pay czar decrees that Bank of America CEO will receive no salary and no bonus for 2009. We should call this guy the pay fuhrer. This is part of the plan to make sure our finance industry collapses again. No quality person will work in this type of environment. When the finance industry collapses again, Obama will seize those companies. Then we can change the nickname of the pay fuhrer to pay premier. No matter how bad things are, they can always get worse.

ECONOMY:

Even Castro is rolling back socialism in Cuba. Everywhere in the world, socialism is being rolled back except in the US, where's it progressing. We have the stupidest government in the world, and we have nobody to blame but ourselves for empowering it.

Contrary to what the media is telling us, government created this economic crisis - nearly two thirds of subprime loans were purchased by government or application of government force.
"The data shows that the principal buyers were insured banks, government sponsored enterprises (GSEs) such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the FHA—all government agencies or private companies forced to comply with government mandates about mortgage lending. When Fannie and Freddie were finally taken over by the government in 2008, more than 10 million subprime and other weak loans were either on their books or were in mortgage-backed securities they had guaranteed. An additional 4.5 million were guaranteed by the FHA and sold through Ginnie Mae before 2008, and a further 2.5 million loans were made under the rubric of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), which required insured banks to provide mortgage credit to home buyers who were at or below 80% of median income. Thus, almost two-thirds of all the bad mortgages in our financial system, many of which are now defaulting at unprecedented rates, were bought by government agencies or required by government regulations."
The government did it using phony money printed by the Fed. Maybe I should have posted this under fascism since Fannie and Freddie were fascist institutions. Now they're socialist institutions. Goldman, Bank of America and Citigroup are on the same path - fascist institutions controlled and protected by the government on their way to being seized and socialized during the upcoming collapse.

TAX AND SPEND:

Stimulus boondoggle being used to save unproductive government jobs. That's counterproductive.

Obama wants to send every senior citizen a $250 check. That's lovely of him, but does he have that kind of money? Oh, he's doesn't mean he's taking that money out of his own pocket. He's taking that money from the rest of us by force. This is a naked attempt to buy support from senior citizens.

Obama's about as responsible as Nero.

HEALTH CARE:

Obama once again accuses Republicans of having no ideas on health care. I'm sure his leftist supporters eat this up, but the mainstream of America knows better. All he's doing is further destroying his credibility.

I just don't see the same intensity against health care oppression I saw in August or even September. I'm afraid Democrats have waited us out and will pass something oppressive. They might even pass everything oppressive they started with. Hopefully it's just the nasty weather that keeps me from feeling that same intensity from people, but it's still there. But I fear this weather has quashed the town halls and the tea parties and the intensity has disappeared with them.

Harry Reid is a dumbass.

Satire on the Baucus bill contends that Obama's intimidation of the CBO (remember the summons to the White House?) has finally paid off.
"That's because the estimate isn't rooted in an actual bill per se, nor does it incorporate hundreds of amendments that will be part of any final product—well, not exactly ... What we do have is a CBO that has been browbeaten long enough by the White House to finally summon the conviction to get a figure that so many wanted to hear."
I hadn't connected those two things.
"The most exhilarating aspect of this plan, however, isn't that it would do nothing to contain costs for average consumers; it's that average consumers would help pay for it long before they failed to receive any tangible benefits."
Are you exhilarated?

FREE SPEECH:

Even Obama's FCC commissioner finds Obama's FCC diversity chief Mark Lloyd dangerous to free speech. This sounds more like a diversion than a real criticism. He wants us to look at Lloyd while he seizes control of speech on the internet.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE:

Democrats' hate crime bill will allow people to be tried a second time for the same crime. Surely the Supreme Court will strike that down as double jeopardy, but I wouldn't bet on it.
"If someone hits me in California with a baseball bat made in Kentucky, that is not a federal crime. But if he does exactly the same thing while calling me a “dirty kike,” it is. No doubt the prosecutor also would deem it relevant that my attacker owned a dog-eared copy of Mein Kampf and belonged to a neo-Nazi group.
Consider the impact of federalizing this crime. In California the maximum sentence for assault with a deadly weapon is four years. The state’s hate crime statute could extend that sentence by up to three years, for a total of seven. By contrast, the maximum sentence under the new federal law is 10 years. Hence my assailant could serve more time for his anti-Semitism than he does for his violence."
Have I mentioned our government is run by evil madmen?

POLITICS:

Democrats represent the richest and poorest districts in America while Republicans represent the middle class. This doesn't surprise me in the least. Democrats are the party of elitism and welfare. They're the party that dominates college campuses and government schools. This makes perfect sense.

Thanks goodness for the Chamber of Commerce. Small business is the only major economic sector combating this breakneck transformation of America into the Soviet Union. They're not only resisting, they're going on the offensive.

I don't have a problem with all these unfilled posts at the Treasury Dept. Just like every other bureaucracy, that dinosaur needs drastic cuts.

MISC:

Obviously the census bureau needs to check if a person is in the US legally. But I don't expect anybody here illegally to answer honestly.

The internet is the freest economy in the world - for a little while longer.

Louisiana justice of the peace refuses to marry interracial government. Yet another reason why government should have no involvement whatsoever in marriage. Marriage should belong to the people and whomever they choose to share it with.

Why didn't we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the defeat of communism?
"November 1989 was the most liberating month of arguably the most liberating year in human history, yet two decades later the country that led the Cold War coalition against communism seems less interested than ever in commemorating, let alone processing the lessons from, the collapse of its longtime foe."
Because we didn't defeat communism, only the Soviet empire. Communism is thriving in America, especially in mainstream media newsrooms, Hollywood and Washington.
"When Western Europeans are giving lectures to Americans about the dangers of economic intervention, as they have repeatedly since Barack Obama took office, it’s a good time to take stock of how drastically geopolitical arguments have pivoted during the last two decades."
To our detriment.

Reason on Elinor Ostrom, the woman who just shared in the Nobel prize for ecomomics. But there's not much in this article. If this woman is just showing that corporations, non-profits and neighborhood community organizations are a good way of providing goods and services to people, well duh. Assuming these organizations are voluntary, these are just market actors. I must be missing something, and nothing I've read so far uncovers it.

Michael Moore doesn't need anybody to explain to him that government controls our economic system and therefore g0vernment is responsible for all the damage we've suffered. He's not stupid. He's a lying piece of excrement.
