War

Israelis call Obama a chicken for deferring to Congress about attacking Syria.

Cyber-warfare reaches a new level as Anonymous claims to have outed members of the Syrian Electronic Army.

Kerry and Hagel call Senators to agitate for war. Why not Obama?

In a symbolic move, the Syrian government requests the UN prevent western aggression.

Polls forced Obama to defer to Congress.
"only nine percent of the American people support a bombing campaign. The number goes up somewhat if it is proved the Syrian government is responsible for the poison gas attack at Ghouta, and yet still a majority opposes US intervention even in that case. "
That's it. Includes text of the proposed resolution.
"Congress, at the behest of the Israel lobby, passed a series of anti-Syrian resolutions nearly unanimously, and nobody noticed: now the President is handing them the control panel and giving them the option to press the red button. It’s a masterful bit of political jiu-jitsu – and we who want to stop the rush to war must take full advantage of it."
Because he's a politician and the people are against this war, Obama is genuinely against it too.  Pushing this back on Congress was a great move for him.

This is a great quote from Doug Bandow.
"The United States faces no serious military threats today, yet is constantly at war."
No kidding.

Ten reasons not to bomb Syria.

Timeline shows Syrian chemical attack most likely a false flag.
