War on Drugs

I don't understand this race to regulate e-cigarettes except as a way to keep them from cannibalizing the tobacco market. This sounds to me like government, the FDA, breaking its back to benefit tobacco companies. Maybe even to benefit illegal drug producers. Nowhere in this article is there a claim that e-cigarettes are dangerous, and that's because the government hasn't had time to fund bogus studies to make that claim. They'll be following shortly.
