Article claims local region would lose $5 million in salary per day if the government shuts down. What it really means is taxpayers would save $5 million a day in local salary lost.

The headline reads, "Little immediate impact expected locally from government shut down" You can't make this stuff up.

Ohio cuts taxes via tax credits for six businesses in hopes they will create jobs. Too bad we all can't be so lucky, but this shows our government understands that lower taxes boost the economy. They just don't care.

I see 28 obituaries on the DDN obituary page, several of which died violently and were in stories because of it, but the only the non-violent death of some government school employee makes the major news.
