I'm not surprised that twice as many Democrats say the American dream is dead. Democrats have been in power in Washington for five years, and the country's decline has accelerated. Since they don't trust Republicans, they believe neither Democrats nor Republicans can turn things around, so they have no hope. Conservatives have hope that if a Republican gets elected, he will turn things around. But they're all wrong. Neither party will turn things around, but there is hope. Government has driven American dream into exile, but it will come back when government collapses.
