Foreign Policy

If the Muslim Brotherhood wasn't all that radical before, it will be now.

Egyptian security kills 36 prisoners.
"The deaths were the fourth mass killing of civilians since the military took control on July 3, but the first time so many had died while in government custody. "
The US should not be involved in this. It was supposedly an escape attempt.

Egypt's rulers question relationship with US rulers.
"Egypt's military-led government said it was "reviewing" its strategic relationships with the U.S. and other Western governments critical of its crackdown on Islamists, deepening the divide between the Obama administration and Cairo."
Another tail is wagging the dog. Too bad US rulers aren't smart enough to question their relationship with Egypt's rulers.

CFR president-emeritus backs the Egyptian military. Saudis back military. Iraqis back military. It sounds like this is a done deal, and the Egyptian military knows it.
