The bad economy has led to US CO2 emissions reductions. The focus on CO2 has always been about crippling capitalism and human development. The government and the Fed had done that very well without a carbon tax.

In an unprecedented turn of events, Colorado State predicts an active hurricane season. Who would have guessed? Just joking. They've predicted this every year since Katrina and been wrong every year since Katrina. If they predict it often enough, like a broken clock, they’ll be right sometime.
