Syrian troops storm a rebel stronghold. Somewhere between 80 and 476 are dead. However,

"Three of those killed were children and six others were women, the Observatory said, adding that the rest were men, among them many rebel fighters."

I don't support the killing of any innocents including men, but this sounds like an amazingly accurate, and effective strike at rebels. I bet this moves Obama one step closer to direct intervention, not because of the casualty count but because of the success against the rebels.
