Sure it was. That's something everybody would want to keep secret.

So far Obama has resisted the drive to intervene directly in Syria, and this article reminds us that the evidence for use of chemical weapons in Syria points to the rebels, not the government. Pat Buchanan describes the folly of intervening in Syria.

As a reminder of that folly, 49 people were killed and 100 more wounded in attacks in Iraq today.
