The Lakers will be better without Kobe be he's a disruptive in the locker room and he's a ball hog on the court. This article hints at that:

Kobe has kept these guys from playing well all year.

Most of the Lakers said they didn't actually hear from Kobe, but they knew he was proud."

I think Kobe was making fun of himself with that tweet. The last thing the Lakers need is think about Kobe while he's out. They should just have play together and have fun the way he wouldn't let them all season. It's too bad the Lakers got it together against my Spurs.
