Free kibbles

TAX AND SPEND:

Calculating the risk on European sovereign debt.

REGULATION:

In a good reminder than giant corporations are effectively government agencies, Twitter will archive every tweet and turn it over to the government. This is a government link so you can't count on it to work.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

The Chinese banking system is built on quicksand. I.e. it follows the Fed.

HEALTH CARE:

Brave folks, probably like ten, are going to rally for raw milk in Chicago. They'll be lucky if they aren't gunned down in the heart of US corrupt in Obamaville. I wish them well.

GLOBAL WARMING AND ENERGY:

Remember when Obama created a ton of new, oppressive regulations, then claimed he wanted to reduce regulations? He lied.
"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), seemingly undeterred by the slow economic recovery, is marching ahead with air pollution regulations that would increase electricity prices, raise costs for businesses and consumers, and risk power outages."
This is a critical part of Obama's plan to crush the US economy and impoverish the American people. It reminds me of when Obama increased spending by hundreds of billions of dollars, then pretended he wanted to fix the deficit. He's a such a transparent liar, it's laughable.

POLICE STATE:

Police rationalize why officer pepper-sprayed non-violent protesters at UC Davis. Basically, the argument is, they were warned. As if that justifies assault. If you warn a peaceful person you're going to punch them if they don't move, and they don't move, you're not allowed to punch them. It's still assault. If they were violating the law, the police should have arrested these non-violent protesters normally, not sprayed them.

WAR:

Gingrich's plan for WWIII. This is not an exaggeration:
"Insist that Congress immediately pass legislation "that recognizes that we are entering World War III and serves notice that the US will use all its resources to defeat our enemies - not accommodate, understand or negotiate with them, but defeat them"."
He wants Congress to formally declare WWIII.

Fifty-eight years ago, retiring President Eisenhower warned the American people of the rising influence of the national security corporations. Today the US government is discussing weapons sales to the most favorable factions of the Libyan revolutionaries.

FOREIGN POLICY:

A series of clips of Ron Paul from 1997 until 2001 predicting that US government foreign policy would incite terrorist attacks against us. If Americans had listened to him then, we could have avoided 9/11.

Yesterday the US government opened a virtual US embassy in Iran. That's code for saying the US created a propaganda website targeted at the Iranian people. Within twelve hours, the Iranian government blocked that website. This sounds like a couple of ten year olds feuding. I'm struck by the banality of it all. Maybe Obama and the Supreme Mullah should just arm-wrestle to resolve their differences.

POLITICS:

The Ron Paul Food Drive. This is a fantastic idea.

Ron Paul kicks ass in CNN interview. This is might be his best interview that I've seen. Like an NFL team peaking at the end of the season, Ron Paul hopefully is peaking right before the elections start.

Judge sentences Blago to 14 years for politics as usual. But not exactly. Sure, Blago was corrupt. They're all corrupt. But Blago didn't kick back enough taxpayer money and favors to the ruling class people who empowered him. Because of that, they turned him over to prosecutors. The moral of this story, and the lesson that the ruling class will teach to any of its disciples is: take care of us, or else you'll end up like Blago. Lots of people may think this sentence will reduce corruption, but they're wrong. This sentence will increase it, and that's what was designed to do.

Romney attacks Gingrich on marriages because the economy, government debt and perpetual war don't matter. It's easy to attack both Romney and Gingrich over this, but that shows just how worthless our political process is. We might as well chose based who says whom has the biggest dick. Or flip a coin between Mao and Stalin. This is what campaigns come down to when all the candidates in both parties (other than Ron Paul) support Karl Marx's income tax, government schools, government farms, and every other policy Marx championed, plus they all support perpetual war, health care mandates, the welfare state and every other totalitarian policy you can think of. If all we're going to do is select tweedle dee, tweedle dum, or tweedle dumber, why do we bother? Every politician in the US is a leftist (except Ron Paul). The question is whether there are any voters in the US who aren't, and I don't see many.

I always crack up at people who are so fooled by others, they think them smart. I've seen it over and over. For example, I know people who thinks John Boehner is super smart. I know others who think Newt Gingrich is super smart. I known many truly smart people, and a few exceptionally smart people, but neither Boehner nor Gingrich compared to any of them. They are cunning. They are slick. They say exactly what people want to hear in the way people want to hear it. They know how to mesmerize then strike at the time of greatest opportunity. They are top politicians in the way the most successful snakes are top predators. But neither strikes me as smart, and never has. Apparently I'm not the only one.
"Now back to Gingrich.I have seen him speak on numerous occasions and I can safely say that reports of his intelligence are greatly exaggerated.
Gingrich has one talent: He can take a view that is politically expedient for him to promote and dress it up so that the boobs believe he is uttering great thoughts."
That's what I'm talking about. Boehner is the same way. One of the terrible aspects of our political process is it's run by pygmies questioning pygmies debating pygmies with the goal of boosting the status of the pygmies. There is no real intelligent or honest person to compare against. And as much I like Ron Paul, as well educated as he is, as much more intelligent as he is compared to the rest and as much better informed as he is, he doesn't strike me as smarter than average person I hang out with either. Don't get me wrong. None of these people are stupid, and Ron Paul is clearly smarter than the others, but none impress me with their intelligence like most of the engineers I worked with my entire career. Ross Perot seemed smart to me. Steve Forbes seemed smart. I don't think the American people like smart politicians, especially when they are honest. Or maybe it's because they're too honest.

I think I could come up with a much better list of Obama's top ten constitutional violations.

I have to admit, I don't get this. Despite Obama's call for, training and support of the Occupy movement, and despite his constant attacks on American business and the wealthy, Wall Street execs still donate tremendously more money to Obama than anybody. Maybe they're just being defensive. Maybe they're hoping beyond hope that paying him will keep him from destroying their livelihoods. Or maybe, and I can believe this, they realize Obama is going to destroy them, but they can't come up with a better plan to save themselves because the only thing they know how to do is throw money at power. I bet they're also padding multiple overseas escape nests.

I consistently get a good laugh at the expense of people who think there's a difference between the two parties. For example, conservatives are giving Newt Gingrich grief about his commercial with Nancy Pelosi promoting the Great Global Warming Fraud. And Gingrich, reptilian chameleon that is, has issued a phony apology to fool people. What neither he, the Republican mainstream or the press has reported is:
"The synergetic bond between former House Speakers Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi extends well beyond the 2008 climate-change commercial that has stirred heated criticism among conservatives, as the GOP presidential hopeful has cosponsored 418 bills in Congress with Pelosi. Such a revelation, particularly when coupled with Gingrich’s Freddie Mac connections, liberal-leaning views on illegal immigration, and support for an individual healthcare mandate, underscore the Gingrich's waning support for true conservative principles."
If you think there's a substantive difference between the two parties, you're fooling yourself. Since Teddy Roosevelt took over the Republican party and Woodrow Wilson followed with the Democrats, both parties have been progressive, and by progressive, I mean Marxist. Every top criminal of both parties supports all ten of Marx's tenants to produce Marxism. Look them up if you don't believe. Obama is nothing special. He's just the next step in the great plan of both parties to drag America down into Marxism. Boehner and McConnell are in on it. Romney, Gingrich, and every other Republican presidential tool is in on it. If you vote any Republican other than Ron Paul, you are voting for Marxism. You might as well have voted for Obama. Please ignore the rhetoric and look at the record and policies. The scales will fall from you eyes. Ron Paul is the only candidate who isn't promoting Marxism.

MEDIA:

Maybe Slate should look at how healthy Ron Paul is at 76 before criticizing his wife's cookbook.

Headlines show how the media trashed Bush when the jobless rate fell in 2004 but praised Obama for the a much worse economy in 2011.

LOCAL:

Yesterday's headline claiming Occupy Dayton was leaving Dave Hall Plaza voluntarily might have been a bit of propaganda for the group. Today's article explains:
"Tom Biedenharn, the city’s director of public affairs, said Tuesday that Occupy Dayton has been told its members cannot continue camping on Dave Hall Plaza indefinitely.“There’s no firm deadline for having them vacate and move their tents, but it will be soon,” Biedenharn said.
He said it is the city’s hope that Occupy Dayton will find a location on private property for its camp."
Either way, I win. I went after the Occupiers and the government for their attacks on property rights. I said the government, because it undermines property rights, creates conflict, chaos and crime. Either the Occupiers, the politicians or both took my advice to heart.

Police arrest five Occupy Dayton protesters. Near my house. This worries me.
