Free kibbles

FASCISM:

Citing Teddy Roosevelt, the original progressive president, Obama champions fascism to great applause. But fascism is only a milestone on Obama's goal of implementing Marxism in the US. I would love to go back to the Roosevelt era when government controlled something like 1 percent of our economy. But that'll never happen. Republicans should make this case. Instead, Gingrich describes himself as a Teddy Roosevelt Republican. There's no difference in substance between Obama, Romney or Gingrich. It's just amazing to me that the American people fall for this charlatans every, freaking election, then they complain that the government isn't doing what the want.

TAX AND SPEND:

When LeBron James chose Miami, I was disappointed he didn't raise the state tax issue as an important factor in his decision. Now that Albert Pujols might go to Miami, if he does, I hope he brings up that issue.

Sure, insiders, except for government insiders, are prohibited from using corporate inside information, but not from using government inside information.
"Here is a very informative Slate article on how certain establishment insiders made a fortune from prior knowledge concerning early CIA covert actions. And here is the more detailed scholarly study in forensic economics which provided the basis for this article."
Those of you who have figured out the true nature of government are not surprised.

REGULATION:

The head of the FAA resigns after being arrested for drunk driving while driving on the wrong side of the road. Do feel safer learning that government's air traffic control system is based on WWII radar? Don't you love how government keeps up with modern advances?

FEDERAL RESERVE:

The Fed bailed the Royal Bank of Scotland with our tax dollars.

WAR:

You remember how the government and it's propaganda media have been telling us the war in Afghanistan has been improving for the past ten years? Do you think the families of the over 60 people killed today by suicide bombers will agree?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION:

This is too funny:

FOREIGN POLICY:

Graphic shows the dozens of US bases in the Middle East and asks if maybe this is the reason they hate us.

POLITICS:

It looks like Gingrich is the big winner of Herman Cain supporters.

Massachusetts government to release 460 boxes of Romney records. This deletion of electronic data mentioned in this article shows how Romney is a typical crooked politician. Also note how the prosecutor won't prosecute Romney for deleting those electronic records because he's a typical crooked politician too. I bet we find out Romney tried to block the release of those records.
"Romney's campaign, meanwhile, has asked [current Massachusetts Governor] Patrick's office for any evidence of collusions between his staff and Obama re-election officials."
Of course he is because he didn't want those records released.

American Jews organize Jews for Ron Paul group in response to the snub by the Jewish Republicans. Let's hope it makes a difference.

I hate it when politicians robo-call me, but a new service turns the tables.
"One of the great banes of election season is that any politician can shell out a few pennies per voter and phone-spam thousands of people who'd rather not hear a recorded pitch. But turnabout's fair play, and now a service called reverse robocall will deliver your recorded message to elected officials as often as you'd like for a nominal fee. If there's a representative you'd like to call repeatedly, check them out."
This is awesome.

LOCAL:

A few weeks ago I ripped the Occupy movement generally and the Occupy Dayton movement specifically for using aggression against property owners as their primary tactic. I advised them to protest on their own property if they wanted to become a relevant, positive force instead of a largely irrelevant, negative force. They wen't nuts. They flooded the paper with comments criticizing my article. Today the Dayton Daily News reports the Occupy Dayton movement is voluntarily vacating government property to move to private property, prominently located, to protest. Just as I advocated. I consider this a victory for property rights and the non-aggression principle. Even the Occupiers can be reached by a clear argument supporting these principles. From another angle, I ripped the government too for allowing these squatters to steal government property. I'm sure the politicians and government agents got the message too.

There's an old saying condemning the grand jury system saying a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich. From my experience, there's no doubt that. The prosecutor uses the grand jury as a tool to bias a trial jury to increase the chances of a conviction and for nothing else. Really. By law, a prosecutor doesn't need to go to a grand jury, and in most cases, he or she doesn't. And it's important to realize that all information a grand jury, at least one convened by a prosecutor, sees is controlled by the prosecutor. The prosecutor controls what evidence they see and what they don't see, and nobody else can change that. Therefore, the prosecution can also use the grand jury as a tool to cover-up crimes by government officials. That may very well be what's going on here:
"The police officer who shot a man to death last month in Ross Twp. acted appropriately, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones, but the case will still go before a grand jury.Shortly after Jones announced Tuesday the results of the investigation into the shooting death of 33-year-old Michael Snader Jr. by Ross Twp. officer Gary Vaughn, Prosecutor Mike Gmoser issued his policy.
“It is the policy of my office that whenever lethal force is used by a police officer in-the-line-of-duty resulting in death, there shall be, without exception, a review by a duly impaneled grand jury,”"
The prosecutor can present as little evidence as he needs to to insure the officer will not be indicted. I don't know whether this shooting was justified or not, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt this process is corrupt.

MISC:

Russian scientists plan to clone a mammoth within five years. That would be really cool.

It sounds like the new Penn State president is giving the football program the death penalty.
