SOCIALISM:

Top Catholic bishop and advocate of leftist programs under the name of social justice admits that social justice is Marxism. Worse, he thinks if he just adds love, it won't end up like all communism ends up. Like I've always said, the leftists in the west think communism itself isn't a problem. They just think previous communists implemented it badly and that they can do it right. This makes my skin crawl, especially considering the tyrannical history of the church.

ECONOMY:

More evidence that the housing bubble and economic crisis was planned. Architect of the bubble Alan Greenspan claims:

"In his New York Times article, Mr. Burry goes on to say that "Mr. Greenspan said that he sat through innumerable meetings at the Fed with crack economists, and not one of them warned of the problems that were to come.""

But that is inconsistent with this:

"New York Times writer Steven A. Holmes wrote on September 30^th, 1999, that "Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980s.""

The essay provides more instances of prominent government economists noting the danger of the housing bubble. Greenspan knew all about it. He did it to us on purpose. He retired before the crash so he could avoid blame.

"If Greenspan didn’t know and the FDIC economists did, why would the US Treasury Department, or the Executive Branch of the government, or Congress itself, not step in and call for a halt to practices that were destroying the economy? Yes, the Federal Reserve is somewhat independent of Congress and the government, but the existence of a Presidential plunge protection team suggests otherwise. The correct answer is, they all knew, Greenspan included. The Ship of State was intentionally scuttled, and it hasn’t reached bottom yet."

I don't see how it could be any other way.

TAX AND SPEND:

Leftist doesn't like VAT because it doesn't change people's behavior. There you have it. The goal of these people is use violence to force people to conform to the behavior they prefer, to reshape America in their image. I love it when a shred of truth shines through the lies.

HEALTH CARE:

Massachusetts government denies rate hikes for insurance companies, threatening to put them out of business. Romneycare is just like Obamacare.

After selling the country out on Obamacare, Stupak to retire. Like I said, these guys know they're going to get creamed, so they're doing as much damage as possible on the way out the door.

WAR:

This shows the nature of government, and it's written by a congressman:

"…listen to this paragraph from a front-page story in the USA Today last November: “Since 9/11, more than three dozen Federal air marshals have been charged with crimes, and hundreds more have been accused of misconduct. Cases range from drunken driving and domestic violence to aiding a human-trafficking ring and trying to smuggle explosives from Afghanistan.”

Actually, there have been many more arrests of Federal air marshals than that story reported, quite a few for felony offenses. In fact, more air marshals have been arrested than the number of people arrested by air marshals."

Power corrupts. The sense of entitlement corrupts. This essay goes on to indict the war on terror and our entire political system.

"For a multitude of politicians, interest groups and professional associations, corporations, media organizations, universities, local and State governments and Federal agency officials, the war on terror is now a major profit center, a funding bonanza, and a set of slogans and sound bites to be inserted into budget, grant, and contract proposals."

And there's the real truth behind everything government does - it's all about looting the people and lining the pockets of the aristocrats and their politically connected backers.


A lot is being made about Obama's nuclear policy change. I don't get it. Every president would respond to an attack based on the circumstances at the time, not some policy developed in the past. Surely people understand that. Thomas Jefferson said it was immoral for men to try to force their will on future generations. Clearly policies like this are intended to do just that. Central planners are the ultimate control freaks. They use violence against their own people. They use violence against the people of other nations. They use violence against future generations. If they had time machines, they'd use violence against the people in the past. This policy isn't a problem. Central planning is. Obama is. Republicans and Democrats are.

POLITICS:

Boortz doesn't believe a poll that says more than half of Americans want to oust their incumbent. I won't believe it until I see it either.

The economy is the top issue for the people and the top issue for Obama. The problem is the people want it to get better and Obama wants it to get worse. The worse, the better for Obama.

More than half of Americans realize that media bias is a bigger problem in our elections than money. Of course it is. No amount of money can match the impact of the media. That's why the attempts to blackout Ron Paul are so hard to overcome.

The American Idol president will appear on American Idol.

This is a good description of liberals and conservatives, government-lovers both.
