Free kibbles

SOCIALISM:

This argument about the historical special relationships between the US government and the governments of Britain and Israel highlight another socialism institution that's just as bad for the people as any other socialist institution. Government has no business forcing relationships on anybody. American citizens should be free to partake in relationships with the citizens of any other country, and I'm sure plenty of Americans still feel particular kinship with Britain and Israel.

TAX AND SPEND:

47 percent of Americans pay no income tax. But this only a part of the story because they pay payroll taxes. I don't have a problem with people not having to pay taxes. I have a problem with government forcing everybody else to pay them.

FEDERAL RESERVE:

Senior Fed official admits that holding interest rates artificially low creates bubbles.

HEALTH CARE:

Health and Human Services Secretary to turn her bureaucracy into a nationwide health insurance help desk. And I thought Time Warner had bad customer service.

This guy's congressman may not have been smart enough to figure it out that Americans are going to start cancelling their insurance policies in droves since the fine is cheaper and you can't be turned down because of pre-existing conditions, but Pelosi, Reid and Obama understand it. It was designed to destroy our health insurance system and usher in the socialized medicine.

GLOBAL WARMING:

Over and over I read how health care oppression was dead, and over and over I said health care oppression is not dead because there's so much power at stake and our aristocrats would sell their mothers, fathers, children, dogs all the rest of us down the river to seize that power. I also read over and over how the global warming fraud was dead. It's not dead because there's too much power at stake. Don't think for a second that it's dead. Here's an article describing how the aristocrats are using our money and power to buy votes to force tax and trade down our throats.

WAR:

Kyrgyzstan coup impacts US troops supplying Afghanistan.

I'm not surprised to find a secondary motive for US troops giving candy to Iraqi children was the hope that insurgents wouldn't attack them, but I find it hard to believe this other accusation is anything but a few isolated incidents by a few bad apples. That would get somebody thrown in the brig. Comparing comparing US troops giving candy to kids and insurgents putting guns to their heads to use as human shields is absurd.

POLITICS:

Just in case you actually thought Republicans were on your side...
"A bipartisan group of U.S. Senators is teaming up with the Obama administration to legalize illegal immigrants and require biometric national ID cards for every American worker, prompting a swift and bipartisan backlash across the nation."
And don't forget Lindsay Graham is working to pass tax and trade, a policy also supported by McCain in 2008.

MEDIA:

Chris Matthews is upset that leftist bloggers aren't making the case for a "social state". That's code for communism.

MISC:

Scientists discover 2 million year old fossils of new human-like species.

Apple challenges Google with online advertising ap for the iPhone. I'm sure users will love having ads on their phones.
