Obama's CAFE standards intended to wipe out SUVs. Bow down and thank Great Pharaoh for allowing us to drive at all. I must have missed the "set mileage standards" clause in my copy of the Constitution. And making it more expensive to manufacture and buy cars is not in anybody's general welfare.

Justice Dept. forces Dayton to pay black police and fire applicants who failed to pass the entrance exam and to revamp the entrance exams to allow more blacks to pass, then give those blacks promotion priority.
"Police and fire union officials maintain the civil service test did not prevent more minorities from joining the city’s safety forces. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 44 President Randy Beane said not enough minority applicants show up to take the test.
He said he doesn’t understand why those who “weren’t even close” to passing the old civil service test are being rewarded and/or given priority hire status."This is nuts. We've devolved back to quotas, and we know what the consequences will be.
